Do you have difficult access to large women's shoes? You are not alone. I have size 12-13 women's shoes and I know what they need in a desperate attempt to get a new pair of shoes, we do. And one might think, shoes are in abundance.

The following are the challenges I have faced in trying to step into a new pair, and I know that many other women, high or wide legs, face the same. Perhaps you've read this, because you make the same challenges. I know how I have overcome the obstacles, but first we want each of them.

• First, most local stores do not stock the shoes. For some reason they do not regard as part of their product. But if you have a local store, the large width and large size shoes when they are either too expensive, poor quality or if they have had a very limited library. I know from experience.
• Second, most women with large feet, buy shoes in desperation. You try to look for shoes and you do not find it. It is time consuming. For the most part we have shoes, we bought just because they have a size, shape, and then we will that was never worn. It is expensive. Some shoes are also of very poor quality, and therefore they do not last very long.
